Republic Day 2025: All preparations for Republic Day have been done. Army soldiers are ready to step on the path of duty. The whole country is waiting for 26th January i.e. Sunday, when the whole country will see a glimpse of India’s cultural inclusivity and diversity. Along with this, India’s military power will also be demonstrated to the world.
Apart from the parade on Republic Day, the thing that people keep their eyes on are the tableaux. India displays its glorious history and achievements to the world through tableaus of different states and ministries. This time a total of 26 tableaux of various states, union territories and central ministries of the country have been prepared. Tableaux with unique themes from 16 states as well as 10 ministries and departments will be included in the parade. However, the process of selecting which tableaux of which states and ministries will be included in the Republic Day parade is quite complex. Let us tell you about it today.
Defense Ministry organizes the entire event
The Defense Ministry is responsible for all the programs including the parade on the occasion of Republic Day. Only the Defense Ministry decides which state’s tableau will be included in the parade this time. This selection is also done very carefully. He invites applications for the tableau from all the states, ministries and departments. Its preparations start from September or October itself.
The committee decides
The Defense Ministry constitutes a committee for the selection of tableaux, which includes experts from the fields of music, architecture, painting, choreography, sculpture. All these experts carefully consider all the applications and look at their theme, design and concept. In the first stage the tableau is presented in the form of a sketch. After getting the permission, in the second phase the tableau is asked to send the 3D model, after getting this approval, the tableau to be included in the Republic Day Parade is prepared. The expert committee of the Defense Ministry sets standards for this. Only those tableaux which meet this criteria get a chance to participate in the parade.
For the first time, there will be a joint tableau of the army.
On this, for the first time on the occasion of Republic Day, the tableau of all three parts of the army i.e. Army, Navy and Air Force will be presented jointly. In this tableau, a synchronized operation of the three armies in water, land and air will be displayed. The joint tableau of the three armies will be based on the theme of ‘Strong and Secure India’.
